A wind advisory goes into effect at 2AM Friday and will last until 5PM Friday. Winds gusting up to 50 mph are possible in parts of Pocahontas and Greenbrier Counties.

Rain will slowly move out of our area, before we get a little break heading into Friday afternoon and evening. Most of our Fabulous Football Friday will be rain free, but on the chilly side! Low’s will dip into the low to mid 30’s across the region for our Halloween night. Make sure the kids are bundled up for their trick or treating and for our football game!
Late Saturday night and early Sunday morning will see the rain chances come back into our area. It will be just like we’ve seen, not heavy rainfall but enough that could cut into our drought some more.

As we look ahead into that 7 day forecast, we will start to warm back up into the next work week. Highs in the mid 50’s, topping out in the low 60’s on Wednesday. Rain chances disappear starting on Monday and we will see a mostly sunny sky Monday-Thursday.
