Shooting suspect located and arrested in Fayette County

Hico, WV (WOAY)- A suspect has been arrested in Fayette County in connection to a fatal shooting incident in Grantsville. 

According to an official press release from the state police, Calhoun County Sheriffs responded to a call from the emergency operations center, reporting a shooting incident on Saturday, December 28 around 8:00 am. 

Upon arrival, authorities discovered 51-year-old Jodie Tribioli and 71-year-old Carole Heagy deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. 

Sheriffs discovered two additional victims alive but also suffering gunshot injuries 

55-year-old Steve Tribioli and 66-year-old Claude Heagy were transported to Grantville’s Minnie Hamilton Health System and then transferred to Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) for surgery. 

Tribioli is in critical condition and heagy is stable. 

Investigators identified the suspect as Steve Tribioli’s son,  28-year-old Noah Richard Tribioli of Columbia, Pennsylvania. 

After state police issued a statewide Be On the LookOut notice(BOLO) for Tribioli, he was located and arrested near Hico. 

He faces two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of malicious wounding, and two counts of attempt to commit a felony. 

Tribioli awaits further court proceedings in Southern Regional Jail without bond.  

The investigation is active and ongoing.
