HINTON, WV (WOAY) – For Taylor Isaac, the level of play on the basketball court has remained high, but the roles have slightly shifted.
The now-junior guard saw herself as a more effective floor general last year, but she acknowledges she has made great progress shooting the ball, while also contributing in other areas. Last week in sectional games against Montcalm and Summers County, she made a notable impact in scoring, while also setting up teammates for key baskets.
Isaac is quick to give credit to her teammates, saying their off-court friendship has played a pivotal role in on-court success. Now the Lady Bobcats are relying on their experience as they prepare for a regional co-final Wednesday against Charleston Catholic.
Summers County has made the state tournament each of the last four years.
