Sewers who want to make masks are welcome to pick up sewing kits at Cathedral Cafe

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – A local Fayetteville man, Geoff Tiny Elliott and other members of the community are putting their 3D printers to good use by making face shields.

Elliott is also asking all sewers to help make masks for the community. If you have a sewing machine and are interested in helping you can pick up a sewing kit at Cathedral Cafe in Fayetteville.

“If you want to be a sewer, they will contact him and he will drop kits off here with the materials. They will take them back to their house and sew them and will bring them back here and drop them off. I mean that’s what’s this is all about,” said Cathedral Cafe Owner Wendy Bayes.

Pick up times are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day.
