Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – Senator Shelley Moore Capito visited the National Scout Jamboree today, touring the joint task force command and participating in a shooting activity.
Capito met with National Guard Major General Jim Seward and saw the headquarters for security, support, and emergency management at the jamboree.
She also got to take part in a shooting activity with scouts and staff, including Scouting America leadership.
Capito said scouts are future leaders of America and is proud of the work state and federal partners have done to make the Jamboree possible.
