West Virginia (WOAY)- Senator Shelley Moore Capito secured Drug-Free Community grant funding from the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy for the Nicholas Intervention Coalition and the Raleigh County Prevention Coalition, Inc.
The funds will help local community organizations spread awareness about the dangers of substance use and help prevent addiction among young people.
Each organization will receive 125,000 dollars to establish and strengthen community collaboration to support local efforts to prevent youth substance use.
