HINTON, WV (WOAY) – This weekend, the Second Saturdays organization in Hinton is holding a local flee market. It will cost patrons $1 to enter, with all of the admission proceeds going to the local humane society.
Hinton Second Saturdays other events usually consist of live music venues in downtown Hinton. This will be there first event of the year. Kristi Scott, co-chair of the Hinton Second Saturdays, says this will be their fourth yearly flee market and and hopes to see a good turnout.
“We have done this every year, this will be our fourth one. We’ve had an excellent turn out. We’ve had lots of vendors calling. We’ve had a lot of people come in to shop. I think people are anxious to be outside, we’re tired of winter. This’ll be a great opportunity to come down to Hinton,” Scott said.
The flee market will be held this Saturday at the freight depot starting at 9 A.M. Indoor accommodations will be provided in case of inclement weather.
