
McDowell (WOAY)— The Federal Emergency Management Agency has opened a second disaster recovery center in McDowell County to assist with the rollout of federal disaster aid.
The new center is located in the McDowell Board of Education building in Welch.
The center located at Bradshaw town hall will remain open.
Survivors can register for federal disaster aid at the centers and get their questions about the recovery process answered.
FEMA has distributed 10 million dollars of disaster aid to southern West Virginia already.
