West Virginia (WOAY) This week, schools nationwide are recognizing the vital role of school counselors during National School Counseling Week.
National School Counseling Week 2026 runs February 2-6, shining a spotlight on the unique contributions counselors make in helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
This year’s theme is “School Counselors Amplify Student Success.”
The American School Counselor Association presents the week to highlight how school counselors help students navigate challenges, plan for careers, and prepare for life beyond the classroom.
National School Counseling Week takes place during the first full week of February.
Free resources and promotional materials are available through the American School Counselor Association to help celebrate and show appreciation for counselors making a difference every day.
