Beckley, WV (WOAY)- Raleigh County authorities are investigating after discovering an employee dead on school grounds.
The individual was found deceased in a car outside of Beckley Elementary yesterday afternoon.
Raleigh County Superintendent Serena Starcher confirms the deceased worked at the school.
The staffer has yet to be identified.
Starcher further states that there was no danger to students.
However, Beckley Elementary and Beckley Stratton Middle conducted a temporary lockdown as a safety precaution.
