Scattered storms and seasonable temperatures stick through the week

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Good evening folks, and happy Monday to you. As of 4:30 pm this afternoon, we are looking at scattered showers and storms across the region. While most of these storms will not become severe strength, they will be capable to produce flash flooding conditions now through Friday. It really just depends on which locations see heavy downpours, and how many storms train over their locations to determine where the highest flash flood risk is. We have rain chances every day this week.

Temperatures aren’t so bad though. We are expecting forecast highs in the upper 70s and low 80s all week long, which is exactly where we should be at this time of year. You’ll be noticing the humidity as well.

Finally, some fog will develop in areas that saw rain today, including our mountain valleys and low lying areas. Have caution when you are heading out on the road tomorrow morning. Have a great day and enjoy the rain!
