WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): There are some very foggy areas this morning with dense fog advisories in Greenbrier, Monroe, and Summers counties until 9 AM this morning. After the fog, most of the region will see mostly sunny skies minus a few scattered showers across the area today. Rain chances will increase tomorrow and even more Sunday as a cold front gets closer to the region. Meteorologist Christian Boteler has the details:
The cold front coming through Sunday will have potential for severe weather with damaging winds and heavier rainfall in play. However, the potential does not mean we’ll see any hail or tornadic activity with this front as of now. We will continue to keep an eye on things, as it is shaping up to be a pretty typical summer cold front. Monday will see the remnants of the front come through as it dissipates soon after passing through the region.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be more of a “break” from the rain, though there are slight chances of pop-up showers developing on either day. The weather will continue to be warm and humid, potentially bringing up daytime showers before the next disturbance on Thursday and through Friday. Here’s your 7-Day Forecast:
