Scarbro, WV (WOAY) A Fayette County man has been sentenced to prison for failing to register as a sex offender.
64-year-old Russell D. Tuck of Scarbro was sentenced on Thursday, March 12, to one to five years in prison after pleading guilty to the felony charge earlier this year.
Tuck must serve one year in prison before being eligible for parole.
Prosecutors say Tuck failed to properly complete his required annual sex offender registration and had an unregistered internet service provider.
Authorities say he is required to register for life following a 2006 conviction for first-degree sexual abuse in Fayette County.
The case was investigated by the West Virginia State Police.
