Ruck 22 WV March hopes to bring awareness to veteran suicide

FLAT TOP, WV (WOAY) – A non-profit hopes to bring awareness to veteran suicide by hosting a 22-mile march.

RUCK 22 WV is putting on the event to help end veteran suicide. The entry cost is free, but all attendees are asked to bring at least 22 pounds of items to be donated. One hundred percent of all monetary proceeds received will be given to Mission 22. The event is set to take place on September 5th.

“The main objective of my event, on September 5th, is to raise awareness for veteran suicide and to put an end to it once and for all. And to raise awareness for veterans too who struggles with Post Traumatic Stress and traumatic brain injury,” said Founder Brad McDaniel.
