Summers County, WV (WOAY)—A Heads-up for drivers in the Lick Creek area: County Route 4 is closed this week for bridge work.
Starting at 8:00 am on Tuesday, May 6, a section of Lick Creek Road at milepost 1.69 will be shut down for a full bridge replacement.
The closure is expected to last through friday, may 9th, weather permitting.
Local traffic is urged to take alternate routes, including Red Springs Road and Duncan Branch Road.
The West Virginia Division of Highways apologizes for the inconvenience and asks drivers to follow posted signs and use caution around the work zone.
