FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Thurmond Riverfront Road in Fayette County is currently closed after a tree fell onto the road early Friday morning.
Dispatchers tell WOAY that the tree reportedly took down multiple power lines with it, affecting residents in the Thayer area. Appalachian Power is currently investigating the outages.
