Richlands, VA (WOAY) Richlands Emergency Management and Police Department wants to ensure no one is left out in the cold as severe weather approaches.
The Richlands Police Department lobby is currently serving as a warming and charging center.
The center will remain open to the community members who need to stay warm or charge essential electronic devices through Wednesday, January 31.
The Richlands Emergency Management states it will open an emergency shelter within the Richlands Police Department if the town experiences a long-duration power outage.
