Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – The city of Beckley has announced the dates for the annual Rhododendron Roll. The festival will run from May 9 to the 17.
It kicks off with the crowning of Miss Rhododendron Festival at 11 a.m. sharp in front of the courthouse on May 9.
The coffee, tea, and sweet treats event and an emergency preparedness fair will then run until 2 p.m. with live music and demonstrations.
On May 13, the waterfall walk will visit the two waterfalls at Pine Creek Preserve starting at 5:30 p.m. The annual rhododendron pickleball festival will take place on May 15.
The final event is the Rhododendron Festival Car and Bike Show and Concert on May 16 from 1 to 5 p.m.
