Kanawha County, WV (WOAY) – Congresswoman Carol Miller and Congressman Riley Moore have introduced a resolution in the House of Representatives honoring Sarah Beckstrom and Andrew Wolfe, the two West Virginia National Guard members shot in the nation’s capital.
The resolution is companion legislation with a resolution introduced in the United States Senate by Senators Shelley Moore Capito and Jim Justice.
Wolfe and Beckstrom were shot in Washington D.C. last week. Beckstrom passed away from her injuries. Wolfe is still in the hospital in critical condition.
The shooter, an Afghan National that was part of a CIA-backed partner force in Afghanistan, pleaded not guilty in court yesterday.
