RAINELLE, WV (WOAY) – Republicans in Greenbrier County celebrated the opening of a new campaign headquarters.
Dozens showed up and heard various speakers for a small rally held outside the new headquarters. Speakers included State Auditor JB McCuskey, Agricultural Commissioner Kent Leonhardt and many others.
“When you’re driving in here it’s an absolute beautiful drive getting here. And this area should be thriving. We have all the resources, we’ve got the beauty, we’ve got the people. We need to make sure that we have the policies in place that make this county great again, along with all the other counties in the state of West Virginia,” Leonhardt said.
The new Republican headquarters is the first and only one to be located in Rainelle. William Todd Longanacre, the Delegate for District 42 in Greenbrier County, said he’s excited to be involved in the grand opening.
“I’m here to support the grand opening of our Rainelle campaign headquarters. First time in my life that I recall one being in Rainelle, and it’s a very exciting day for us.”
Other Republican headquarters in Greenbrier County are in Lewisburg and White Sulpher Springs. State Republicans are hoping the new headquarters will help their candidates for years to come in that area of the state.
