Pipestem, WV (WOAY)—The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (WVDNR) is accepting registrations for the Becoming an Outdoors Woman Spring Workshop, which will take place April 4-6.
The program aims to introduce women to hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
According to a WVDNR press release, the event provides a non-competitive environment where attendees can learn and explore outdoor activities with instructor support and encouragement.
Seventy-five spots are available for the two-day workshop, which will take place at Pipestem Resort State Park.
The registration fee is $225, including instruction, equipment, and meals.
Participants interested in the fishing class must get a license and trout stamp to send in with their registration fee.
