Registration deadline for Concord University Groundhog Day Breakfast on January 29

This year’s event will feature Princeton native and Concord alum Delnora Reed Acuff, serving as Grand Groundhog Watcher.
The award-winning singer and songwriter, now based near Nashville, will deliver remarks and a brief performance.
The Groundhog Day Breakfast begins at 8 a.m. in the Pais Fellowship Hall at University Point.
Tickets are $20, with reservations due by January 29.
Concord University’s Gap Fund provides small grants to undergraduate students facing unexpected financial hardships, helping cover essentials that could otherwise force them to leave school.
Over the past three years, the fund has distributed more than $28,000 to 138 students who had no other way to cover urgent expenses.
But with new requests pending this semester, the need continues, and the fund depends entirely on donor support.
One way to help is by participating in the longtime Concord tradition of the Groundhog Day Breakfast.
