Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – Officials with the Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority are sending July out with a bang!
Severe weather earlier in the month forced officials with the parks and recreation authority to postpone the fireworks show scheduled for July 5 over Lake Stephens.
Red, white, and boom will now take place on Saturday, July 25!
The event will merge with the annual beach blast, allowing visitors to celebrate America’s 250th birthday one last time.
The aqua park, splash pad, and beach will open at 2:00 p.m. The fireworks are scheduled to begin promptly at 10:00 p.m.
