Princeton, WV (WOAY) – While the highly anticipated series between Bluefield and Pulaski will have to wait until Saturday because of the weather, Princeton and Elizabethton were able to play at least once Friday evening.
The Rays and Twins had a doubleheader scheduled for Friday, with the Twins taking the first game 5-1. Elizabethton also led 3-0 in the second game before that was suspended due to rain.
The Rays and Blue Jays will resume the Mercer Cup rivalry Sunday at Bowen Field.
