RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – It was an exciting day at Raleigh General Hospital, where they announced expanded access and enhancements to cardiology care services.
It’s all about investing in the health and well-being of the community with state-of-the-art medical management solutions that will positively impact patient outcomes.
Raleigh General is only the third hospital in the state to receive this new Cardiac Cath Lab Accreditation.
“I get chills talking about it; it speaks volumes,” said Cardiovascular Service Line Director Kimberly Perdue. “It’s very important to me. I have a deep passion for our community. This is where I’m from.”
According to Perdue, it’s great that the hospital can meet these rigorous standards knowing how important that is for the quality of care.
“This is not the end, though,” the cardiovascular service line director said. “This is part of a long-term goal for our facility. I would be reluctant to share that right now; let’s just say keep an eye on Raleigh General.”
