Beckley, WV (WOAY) Raleigh County Schools is getting ready for the new school year with a series of back-to-school open houses throughout the county.
The events allow students and families to meet teachers, tour their schools, and get ready for the first day of classes.
Most elementary school open houses are scheduled for August 24 and 25, with times varying by school.
Middle and high school open houses will also be held for incoming sixth graders, freshmen, and other new students.
Families are encouraged to check the Raleigh County Schools schedule for the specific time and location of their child’s open house.
It’s a chance to get familiar with the school, ask questions, and help students start the new school year feeling prepared.
