Beckley, WV (WOAY)- Raleigh County Parks & Recreation announces its open-air, outdoor, live music series Raleigh County Live 25 (RCL 25) will kick off this summer at the Lake Stephens event center.
The series will allow musicians to share their art while showing the community a good time.
Admission is $10.
Jim Snyder will produce the first two shows, which will take place on May 31 and July 18.
Tyler Carden & The Company WV will produce the June 20 show.
Parks and Rec will also host the 18-and-under Southern West Virginia Idol Competition, produced and hosted by David Paul Salts and Collaborative School of the Arts, on August 2.
Attendants are encouraged to bring a blanket and chairs as there will be festival seating.
The event will also provide opportunities for local vendors to boost their businesses.
