Beckley, WV (WOAY) Get ready for fall fun in Raleigh County with several community events and costume vault locations planned through October.
Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority is encouraging residents to watch for costume vault drop-off bins in their area.
The schedule includes Rollin’ Rec at Marsh Fork on September 15, and costume vault events at Lake Stephens on September 21-22.
Then, it’s movies on the move with a “Hocus Pocus” party on the courthouse lawn across from Shoemaker Square on September 26.
A “Scream on the screen” event is set for the 4H camp October 3rd, with organizers promising a chance to vote on which movie will be shown.
Costume vault events will also be held at Dry Hill-Prosperity on October 3-4, and at the 4H camp October 19-20.
