Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – A Raleigh County man has pleaded guilty to stealing more than 2 million in COVID-19 relief funds.
Ryan Keith Bailey admitted to using loans that were supposed to cover payroll and other legitimate business expenses for personal purchases.
Many of those loans were forgiven by the federal government after Bailey lied about what he spent the money on.
He is facing up to three years in prison and will have to pay the money back.
