Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) A Raleigh County man is facing multiple felony charges following an investigation involving a juvenile victim.
According to Sheriff Frank Priddy, the Raleigh County Sheriff’s office was contacted in March by authorities in Morrow County, Ohio, about a complaint involving a juvenile.
During the investigation, detectives developed information related to multiple incidents in Raleigh County, leading to warrants for 24-year-old Benjamin Dale Ball.
Ball is charged with seven counts of first-degree sexual assault and two counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian, or person in a position of trust to a child.
Officials say the cash-only bond is set at $500,000.
Ball awaits further court proceedings in Southern Regional Jail.
