Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – A Raleigh County man has been arrested on multiple charges related to the abuse of a child.
According to a media release from the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday, April 17, 2026, deputies responded to a call in the Dameron area of Raleigh County to investigate an unresponsive male.
During the course of the investigation, deputies obtained information that led them to obtain arrest warrants for 40-year-old Christopher Charles Young.
Christopher Young is charged with 2 felony counts of Child Abuse & Neglect.
He was arraigned and is currently in the Southern Regional Jail under a $140,000 bond.
