Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people after finding large quantities of drugs during a traffic stop.
The arrest was made on January 10. A K-9 alerted to an odor coming from the vehicle. Deputies found nearly 80 grams of meth, six grams of fentanyl, and 46 grams of a meth and fentanyl mixture.
They also found a gun and nearly $3,000 in cash.
The driver, Michael Cooper, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance. He also faces traffic-related charges.
The passenger, Bernard Garrison, is wanted in Louisiana. The video link is below.
