Beckley, WV (WOAY) The Raleigh County Commission on Aging is preparing for its 18th annual elder abuse conference.
The conference is set for Friday, September 18, and will cover topics including the difference between criminal and civil cases involving older adults, gambling disorder, and the housing challenges facing seniors.
The registration fee is $20 per person and includes lunch.
The deadline to register is September 11.
Continuing education credit will also be available, including 6.6 hours for nursing and 5.75 hours for social work.
