BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring another cash mob, where local businesses host live streams and sell products online.
One business participating in the cash mob is Blue Magnolia, a store specializing in clothing and homewares. Owner of the business Dana Blankenship says the cash mobs have been a great way to support their business in an online format during the pandemic.
“Customers have really paid attention and they’ve jumped on board and it’s been great. They do curbside pickups here at the store and we do free shipping as well,” Blankenship said.
The Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event by providing gift cards to the businesses participating, that they can then give out during the live streams.
