WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): We’ve seen a good deal of rain this morning, and will continue to see more throughout the day today! The more breaks in the clouds we get, the more thunderstorms we could see across the area. While we are not expecting many to be severe today, some could put out some gusty winds and heavy downpours. Our southwestern counties have the highest potential at seeing some of the stronger and rainiest storms today.
Flooding will remain a possibility today and through the week ahead. We’ll have plenty of moisture to support it, so watch out for low-lying areas that seem to have seen rain all day long. Temperatures in the mid 70s today, and warming throughout the week. Today is our best chance for rain.
