Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – The Rainelle trailhead on the Meadow River Rail Trail is now open.
The trail connects trailheads at Nallen and Rainelle, stretching more than 18 miles along the Meadow River.
Plans to extend the trail to the Gauley River are still in the works.
The trail is open for hiking, biking, horseback riding, rock climbing, and skiing.
