Scattered showers are possible across the region as we head toward Tuesday night, but the chances of a widespread rain event definitely remains low. These showers also will not be over a specific area for a long period of time.

A more widespread rain chance appears likely for Saturday, as a cold front will start to make its way into our region from the west. Rain appears likely for most of the state, let alone our area through the day Saturday into Saturday night. With temperatures being above average, rain appears to be the main precipitation type with this system for us.

Looking ahead at that full 7-day forecast, the Isolated shower potential exists Tuesday and Wednesday before showers appear likely Thursday into Friday, and then into Saturday as well. Temperatures will also go from pushing the 60’s, to the mid 30’s after the cold front comes through on Sunday, with a lingering shower chance.
