While the winter storm so far hasn’t produced on snow, colder air will allow the flakes to fly tonight.
Rain will change to snow around 11 p.m. and snow showers will end by 2 p.m. Saturday. Small puddles on secondary roads, sidewalks and driveways will become a sheet of ice. Sunshine returns late this weekend and temperatures warm up next week.
We will stay mild until December 30-January 2 when colder weather and the threat for snow returns.
