Princeton Hospital temporarily suspending support groups and community classes

PRINCETON, WV (WOAY) – Princeton Community Hospital will temporarily suspend all support groups and community classes effective Monday, March 16, 2020.

The hospital released the following statement:

“In order to keep our patients and employees safe and to reduce the chance of the coronavirus (COVID-19) entering our facility, Princeton Community Hospital has temporarily suspended all support groups and community classes that meet in the hospital effective Monday, March 16, 2020.

 

These include: Diabetic Support Group, Cancer Support Group, Diabetic Education Classes, Childbirth Classes, and Breastfeeding Classes. We are also not accepting job shadowing students at this time.

Educational classes such as BLS, ACLS, and TNCC will continue for the time being.

 

This decision was made out of an abundance of caution. There are currently no confirmed COVID-19 cases in the area.

 

We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time. Our ultimate goal is to protect the health of our patients, staff, and community.”
