Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) The Princeton City Council passed a resolution at the August city council meeting that designates September 19th, 2026, “The Pride of West Virginia Day” in honor of the WVU marching band and its upcoming visit to Princeton.
The official city council resolution says the city of Princeton “…welcomes the opportunity to witness another outstanding performance by the greatest marching band in the history of this great state of West Virginia.”
The Pride of West Virginia marching band will be performing at Hunnicutt Stadium on Saturday, September 19th, at noon, and the city of Princeton proudly invites the public to attend the free performance.
