Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots increase

Charleston, WV (WOAY) – The Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots keep climbing after no one won either of this week’s drawings.

The Powerball is now up to an estimated 875 million dollars, becoming the third-largest grand prize ever. 

The next drawing is scheduled for this weekend and anyone wanting to play must purchase tickets by 9:59 p.m. on Saturday, July 15.

For those who can’t wait until then, Mega Millions has a drawing Friday night. 

After no winner Tuesday, the jackpot now sits at an estimated 560 million dollars. 

West Virginians wanting to play must Mega Millions must purchase a ticket by 10:59 p.m. on Friday, July 14.
