Greenbrier County, WV (WOAY) – The Greenbrier County Prosecuting Attorney’s office says investigators found possible human remains during a search yesterday.
Nicole Campbell said in a press release that law enforcement was searching a wooded area in the county as part of a missing persons investigation.
The remains have been sent to the West Virginia State Police Crime Laboratory and Marshall University for examination and identification.
No other information is being released until the remains are identified and the next of kin is notified.
