Update: Tazewell, VA (WOAY) – Missing Tazewell County teen is found safe.
WOAY reported on June 2, 2025, that 16-year-old Alysia Naomi Trigg, was reported missing.
According to a media release from Tazewell Virginia Police Department, Trigg has been located and found healthy and well per Salem Police Department.
Officers say the circumstances surrounding this matter remain under investigation.
Tazewell, VA (WOAY) — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager who may be in danger.
16-year-old Alysia Naomi Trigg, was reported missing on Monday evening.
She was last seen in the Fairmont Avenue area of Tazewell, Virginia.
Trigg is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Investigators believe she may be traveling to Roanoke, Virginia.
Police believe Alysia may be in danger and are urging anyone who sees her or has information about her whereabouts to call 911 immediately or contact the Tazewell Police Department at 276-988-2503 or 276-970-7402.
