WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): The sunny, mild afternoon will give way to a cold front that promises a cooler regime this weekend.
SHORT-TERM: Saturday will start out warmer at sunrise than it will during the typical warmest part of the day (3-4 p.m.). Expect a few showers to transition to snow flurries. Only western Greenbrier and Pocahontas County will see about an inch of accumulation. No accumulation expected elsewhere. Sunday morning will be the coldest before temperatures warm through midweek, but we have a dynamic storm that will bring rain, wind and thunder.
Those suffering from arthritis and aches due to the pressure, will feel extra pains Tuesday into Wednesday.
The midweek storm will likely trigger rain, storms and wind. Prepare for the power to take a hit one of those days.
