Pleasant weather ahead

It was a wonderful day around the region, with plenty of sunshine and pleasant temperatures. Readings are in the 70s everywhere, even in the traditional warm spots.
With dewpoints in the 40s and 50s at this hour, we get a pretty good sense that lows tonight will be in the lower 50s in most areas, with some upper 40s thrown in for good measure. Skies will be mostly clear.
Tomorrow, a weak system will push into the region. Our Futurecast model wants to paint a few showers in the high elevation locations, but the chances for that are VERY small.
Overall, it should be another great day, with highs a shade cooler than they were today, in the upper 60s and lower 70s. The cooler weather lasts through tomorrow night, with lows below 50 degrees for most areas.
The stretch of cool weather continues through the early part of the extended forecast, with highs and lows both below the normal every day. There will be a small, gradual warm up towards the end of the week. There will also be a small chance for showers later in the week to our northwest, but it looks like these showers should stay away from us.
