WEST VIRGINIA (WOAY) – Planet Fitness will not open any of their West Virginia locations on Monday, despite the Governor giving them the ok.
Planet Fitness sent an email to their members on Friday, May 15, 2020, telling them that their West Virginia locations will remain closed out of precaution due to COVID-19.
Governor Jim Justice announced this past week that gyms could reopen beginning Monday, May 18, 2020.
The company did not give a date on when they might reopen.
