Beckley, WV (WOAY) – The Piney Creek Watershed Association and the Beckley-Raleigh County Make it Shine committee are looking for volunteers to help with a litter sweep in downtown Beckley.
The next clean-up is scheduled for Friday, June 16, at 1:30 pm. However, In case of inclement weather, the event will be postponed to Monday, June 19.
Volunteers will meet in Shoemakers Square between the courthouse and the Raleigh county commission to pick up cleaning supplies.
Participants are welcome to bring their own work gloves. Participants are advised to wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle as well.
