BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – Piney Creek Water Association has teamed up with Elevation Sports to clean up a local area in Beckley.
The group is looking for volunteers to help pick up trash in an area on Robert C Byrd Drive located behind the Elevation Sports building and to the left of the Dollar General parking lot. This Saturday also marks National Clean Up Day.
“It’s so important to clean up the community and help beautify the area because not only does that impact the water quality but it also make it a better place to live,” Director Corey Lilly said.
If you would like to volunteer, The Clean up will be at 10 a.m. this Saturday.
