Perfect Fall Pattern Continues Through Friday

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY-TV): Under high pressure, early morning fog will give way to bright sunshine with crisp mornings and warm afternoons through Friday.

Here’s Chief Meteorologist Chad Merrill’s latest forecast:

WEEKEND FORECAST: Low pressure will develop off the Atlantic side of Florida on Friday and push north as a subtropical storm this weekend. Our region will be on the far western flank. Bring a jacket if you’re headed to Friday night football games because a breezy easterly wind will make the 60s feel more like upper 50s!

We’ll have a dash of rain late Saturday afternoon to early Sunday but rain amounts will stay under 0.25 inch. We dry it out and bring back the sun for Monday before a cold front likely brings rain showers on Wednesday.
