Pennsylvania man sentenced in connection with drug conspiracy and possession crimes in Fayette County

Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) A Pennsylvania man has been sentenced in connection with drug conspiracy crimes in Fayette County.
According to the Fayette County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the court sentenced 43-year-old Reginald K. Stevenson of Ambridge, Pennsylvania, to 10 years in prison for conspiracy to violate the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.
He was also sentenced to a consecutive term of 1 to 15 years for possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver.
Stevenson must serve a minimum term of 3.5 years in prison before being eligible for parole.
A court found Stevenson guilty on August 18 following a two-day jury trial.
Authorities stopped Stevenson and his co-defendant, Cimona Harrell, on January 18, 2024. Stevenson for a traffic violation.
A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of approximately 997 grams of cocaine and $85,000 hidden in the vehicle.
A search of Stevenson’s person revealed an additional $1,034 in cash.
Further evidence from Stevenson’s cell phone uncovered that he regularly engaged in drug trafficking outside of West Virginia.
